CV Guide App - AI Resume Analyzer

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CV Guide App ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

CV Guide App is an AI-powered platform that provides:

Resume analysis and feedback using artificial intelligence
ATS (Applicant Tracking System) friendliness checks
Job-specific resume matching and compatibility scoring
Interview preparation assistance
Resume storage for paid subscribers

The Service uses multiple third-party AI services for automated analysis and recommendations. Results are probabilistic in nature, provided for informational purposes only, and do not guarantee job placement, interview success, or any specific employment outcomes.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
Free tier users' resume files are automatically deleted after analysis. Paid users may store resumes according to their subscription tier.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Upload resumes that contain illegal, harmful, abusive, or offensive content
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract AI models or prompts
Use automated scripts or bots to abuse rate limits or bypass restrictions
Impersonate any person or entity
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Share your account credentials with others
Use the Service for commercial resale or redistribution of analysis results

5. Personal Use and Commercial Restrictions

The Service is licensed for individual, personal use only. You may not use the Service on behalf of a recruitment agency, staffing firm, career coaching business, or any third party. You may not resell, sublicense, white-label, or redistribute the Service or its outputs. You may not share your account credentials or allow multiple individuals to use a single account. You may not use the Service as a component of a competing product or service. Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund, in addition to any other remedies available to us.

6. Rate Limits & Usage

The Service enforces daily rate limits based on your subscription tier:

Free: 5 analyses per day
Pro: 10 analyses per day
Power: 25 analyses per day
Developer: 50 analyses per day (requires your own API key; subject to provider limits)

Rate limits reset daily at midnight UTC. Attempts to circumvent rate limits may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Subscription Terms

Paid Subscriptions:

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
You may cancel your subscription at any time, but you will continue to have access until the end of your billing period
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
Downgrading your subscription may result in loss of access to certain features

Using Your Own API Key (Developer Tier): If you provide your own API key, you are responsible for all costs incurred through your API provider. We are not liable for any charges on your API account.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CV Guide App and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to your resume content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your resume content through AI providers solely for the purpose of providing analysis and recommendations.

Analysis results, recommendations, and AI-generated content are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or claim ownership of AI-generated analysis content. Systematic collection, redistribution, or use of outputs to build competing products or services is prohibited.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate analysis, recommendations, and interview preparation content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. You acknowledge that:

Analysis results are suggestions and should not be the sole basis for career decisions
We do not guarantee that following recommendations will result in job offers or interview success
You should review and verify all AI-generated content before using it
We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from reliance on AI-generated content

9. Data Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information, including resume content. We may process and access usage data and analysis metadata for service operation, support, and security, as described in our Privacy Policy. Administrators do not have access to the content of your resume or job descriptions through the application.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CV Guide App, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
Any conduct or content of third parties (including AI providers)
Any content obtained from the Service
Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
